Michael Saint James is a world traveler, having visited more than 28 countries. His travel adventures include: teaching English in Tokyo, building greenhouses on the island of Cypress, working on a film set in Jerusalem, trekking by elephant in northern Burma, and crossing a Himalaya summit at 17,769 feet. In December of 2011 he will be crossing the Strait of Magellan to photograph penguins in Antarctica. is a keynote speaker on the artist Vincent van Gogh and the Impressionist movement. He has walked in the footsteps of van Gogh through the Netherlands, Belgium and France to better understand the artist’s personal life and unique artistic vision. teaches art in Marin County, California, introducing students to movie making, animation and photography. He has a teaching credential in both Art and English. works professionally as a book designer and video editor. He won the prestigious Ben Franklin Award for “Best Business Book.” |
